Parc Komo is an upcoming Freehold condominium in District 17, due to be completed in 2024. It is developed by CEL Development and will be the home to 274 residential units. It will also feature a 2- storey commercial building with retail shops. The development was inspired by the Komorebi experience, which is also how Parc Komo got its name. The word ‘Komorebi’ refers to the sun shining through leaves, this means residents can expect this project to be filled with nature and a  new adventure at every corner.

Parc Komo is located at Upper Changi Road hence getting to the city will not be as convenient compared to other projects. However, it is still convenient to get to the necessary amenities especially by car. There are several expressways that are just a short drive away such as the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Tampines Expressway (TPE) and East-Coast Parkway (ECP). Changi Airport and Jewel @ Changi are also just a 5 minutes drive away. For those that prefer public transport,  there are bus stops just a 1 and 6 minutes’ walk from the condominium. The nearest MRT stations are Tampines East and Pasir Ris MRT stations which are quite a distance away by foot, but the developers will be providing shuttle bus services to nearby MRT stations for the first 2 years upon  T.O.P or until the MCST is formed. Loyang MRT station, an upcoming station on the Cross-Island Line,  will be just a few minutes’ walks away. Something else to note is the condominium is located directly opposite a prison, and although it looks like any other building, some may not be too pleased by this fact.

Residents may be concerned regarding the accessibility to amenities, hence they will be glad to know that Parc Komo is an integrated development. Komo Shoppes is seamlessly integrated into the condominium, serving both the residents and the surrounding community. It will feature a well-curated variety of dining, shopping and lifestyle outlets including a grocer and services for both children and pets. In addition to that, Loyang Point, Eastpoint Mall, Changi Village, Tampines Mall,  Tampines One, Century Square and Jewel @ Changi are all just around the corner. With these many options, residents are sure to be satisfied.

Residents can enjoy the bars and food centres at  Changi Boardwalk, attend exhibitions at Expo (when the pandemic gets better), shop and dine at  Ikea Tampines and Jewel @ Changi, or alleviate their stress at Tanah Merah Country Club and SIA

Sports Club. Families can also enjoy a day out at East Coast Park and Downtown East where there is a plethora of activities that are sure to entertain the young ones.

As for tertiary education, Tampines Junior College, Temasek  Polytechnic and the Singapore University of Technology and Design are all within close proximity.

Parc Komo has a wide selection of 1- to 5-room units. Each unit is designed and fitted with elegant and sophisticated furnishing and fittings that reflect the textures of the development. The flooring will be fitted with glazed tiles, timber floors or marble depending on the unit, and the kitchen appliances are from Bosch. As for the bathroom, it will be equipped with fittings from Duravit and  Hansgrohe.

Some notable mentions are the Pool Party Pavilion and Lounge for parties with families and friends, the Gym overlooking the  50-meter Lap Pool, the Barbeque Pavilion and Clubhouse for those who like to entertain guests, and the Glamping and Reading Pods for those who like to be in touch with nature. Parc Komo is definitely a rare find in District 17 due to its freehold tenure and will be especially attractive to homebuyers who work in the vicinity and those who like a resort-like development that is in a peaceful and quiet district. In terms of investment, this condominium will potentially attract those working in the travel industry, however, this can be volatile due to the current pandemic.  Hence, it can be said that this development is more suited for those with a longer-term outlook.

All in all, Parc Komo is a unique development that will definitely provide residents with a  comfortable and enjoyable living environment in the East. If you are interested in this quality of lifestyle, contact us for a discussion today!
